Color Throw Down & Wicked................

Okay- if you know me, you know that Halloween is my FAVORITE! So I could not resist the Color Throw down this week! Click here for all the details.
Here is my take on it:

Okay- onto book talk.....
Am I the only one who is having a hard time with this book?
I never liked Wizard of Oz as a kid- still don't. However I thought I would give this a go.
So I am wondering if I should put it down- or plug on?
Anyone plugged thru this that can tell me to continue on?????

Cool card! I'm with you...I was never wild about Wizard of Oz either. Flying monkeys!! Let me know about the book...oh wait, I guess you will on Good Reads! *wink*

Love the card. The hand stitching is particularly lovely.

That color combo is so fun!

Friends of mine read Wicked and all gave it poor reviews so I don't think it's just you.

Your creativity always floors me Eve.....always has. :)

The book was just ok. If you don't like it by now I'd say move on. I didn't think it was that good.

I am a librarian and have tried to read this book several times, and have never gotten past 50 pages. Leave it. Don't feel bad. There are many more books out there worth your time!

If you skip the first 100 pages- the book is okay. :)

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
