One World One Dream......

**Edit- Okay still watching and LOVIN' the Olympics! Why is it everything I want to watch is on at MIDNIGHT? WOW- digging the swimmers & diving & the US volley girls!
However I did have to share - I am sure you have seen or heard the new GM commercial that came on during? That is my new FAV song right now..... Again for the ROCK people that have not heard it: click on the last song in my playlist. "The Story" artist Brandi Carlile. Enjoy......
So unless you live under a rock- you have hopefully been tuning in every chance you get to watch the Olympics! WOW...... once again this is an example of what it means to be proud to be an AMERICAN! These world class athletes put their heart and soul (not to mention their amazing bodies) into it. Some of the personal stories are astonishing! Each and every one tells a different story of triumph or defeat. The level of drive in these athletes is indescribable.....
Here is the official site.
Tune in and prepare to be amazed!

Eve,
I LOVE that song too!!! Although, it makes me cry. I tend to be "moved" by music and it just hits my soul deep down. The Olympics are awesome! Yes, I am very tired this week too, because I get caught up in watching them, and all the sudden it's after 11:00pm (way past my bedtime!). ALL the athletes are amazing and inspiring...I started adding a short jog on my usual walk this week (go figure!). Thanks for sharing...can't wait to catch up! Love, Deb

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
