The Midnight Release of Breaking Dawn............

There were vampire books galore............
Apples....Twilight trivia................and games

Brides............(she won 1st place BTW)
There were werewolves...........and Edward look-alikes..................
Music..............
And then at midnight (okay at 12:30) Raimi and I FINALLY got our books!

It was fun and worth the wait! Even though Raimi and I felt a little out of place.... We were two 30-somethings lost in a sea of 7th grade girls! Oh we would see some ladies are age and get hopeful- but then realize they were just there with their daughter! I did see my friend Dana and her daughter Alex! Raimi kept saying "you ready to go to Walmart?" We were cracking up! The time went by quickly and it was fun since I had never been to one of these before! And now when Alissa reads this series when she is of age I will tell her I was there. It would have been fun to do with her if she was that age for sure! I am super tired this morning- and when the new book comes out in the series I may call Raimi up and say..."you ready to go to Walmart?"
Well I am off to read my book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you had such a great time! It sounds like you were able to fill the time in between with fun stuff to do. I'll have to get the book today.

I am glad we went. It was fun. If anything, we were surely entertained by all of those loud, crazy Twilight teeny boppers. I read the first chpater when i got home & then fell asleep. I am paying for it this morning.
Thanks for a fun evening.

LOL! I'm sorry you were surrounded by 7th graders! I haven't started reading them myself but I have a bunch of friends who do, ranging from 15-33. Does that help? LOL!
Looks like you had fun!

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
