My Pretend Book Club......

Okay so this post is from my friend Lisa who lives in Seattle. She belongs to a book club there. She was in a book club when she lives in Utah. She organzied this one in Washington. So I am like their book club want a be- lurker- whatever. She always copies me on their selections. I try to read as many of them as I can. We mail each other books back and forth- and have many a good conversations on the phone about the books we are reading! So I asked if I could post her list. These are the books they picked- and I also included the ones they did not. I have a lot of these on my to-read list, or I have already read some. And the rest I can not wait to read and hash out with Lis! Thank you Lisa!!!!!

Yay! I made your blog again! giggle You are an Honorary Member of our book club! By the way, did I ever tell you we found a name? The Breakaway Book Club -- because we all need a break away from every day life. :-)

Enjoy!
Lisa

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
