Green Tangerines Design Team.....

I am so excited and honored! I LOVE this store!!!! For those of you that have not had the pleasure....imagine over 10,000 square feet of everything scrap and stamp! Kelly the owner thought of everything- and she did it right! And the frosting on the cake is the staff! What a wonderful group of ladies! I just LOVE going in there!
I submitted one of my layouts (In my gallery- the 1st one "For these eyes I wish..") a few months ago for a chance at a design team position. Imagine my surprise when I got a message from Kelly saying that I made it! I saw all the layouts that were submitted- and they were ALL great. A lot of hard work went into those. I am really looking forward to this wonderful opportunity! There are nine other girls on the team. They are a talented bunch. Ok, seriously? How, after all these years, I still don't know everything about you? Jumping in the Sac river in winter? I have GOT to hear this story. And, really, when am I going to get to hear you sing? I'm thinking karoake this time for our February scrapbook weekend! giggle

I'm thrilled for you Eve.....and yes you girls HAVE to hear the Sac River story (I know several people who have done that insanity) and also hear Eve sing!! Her voice is amazing!!!

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
