Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #7........& BLOG CANDY

Well- lucky me! I got to pick the theme this week! Guess WHO I picked?

EMMETT! I would have to say he is my FAVORITE Twilight character. I wish SM had developed him a little more and went in Emmett a little bit more. Seriously....I am the only one that thinks she could write a set of books for each person in their own perspective?
Wouldn't Emmett's be awesome! Such a burly dude- LOVE it!

Since Emmett cracks me up- (I LOVE his sense of humor!!!) I made this little book first. It is Emmett's little book of quotes. It is only 3"x4".
You can click on any of the photos if you would like to enlarge to read the quotes.

Secondly- I made this card...................

Since I used lots of dark colors on this card I used BLACK pop dots to mount the bear. See how you can not even see them?
LOVE these......if you don't have any- run out and get some!

Make sure you click here to read this! Emmett & the Bear.......................
And since this is probably the LONGEST post ever............
Why stop there-
Go here and find out which male Twilight character you are!
I will let you guess which one I am.........................

Make sure you check out what the rest of the design team did:

Fall Feast..................................

This is what I did yesterday...............

Alissa's teacher does a FEAST every year in his class. He got us room mom's together and said it is a big deal. turkeys, hams, food, food, food! And lots of people!
Lisa , Anne and I (room mom's) have been busy planning the feast these last few weeks! Over 80 people turned up for the event! It was wonderful- lots of great food, getting to know the parents, and lots of proud kids!
Here is Mr. Knox bringing the kids in for the FEAST!Everyone feasting..............
My partners in crime...................
Lisa!
And Anne!
(Sweet Anne cooked TWO turkeys for the class!!!!)

Turkey craft Logan made in art club..............
(Had to throw it in- cause it is sooo stinkin' cute!)

Pilgrim hats I made for the Feast.............

You can make them too:
1 cup vanilla frosting
7 drops yellow food coloring
32 miniature peanut butter cups
1 package fudge- stripped cookies
32 pieces orange mini Chiclets gum (I could not find- so I used Orange tic-tacs!)

Mix food coloring into frosting. Remove paper liners from PB cups. Dip top of PB cup into frosting. Position over the bottom of the cookie - push down forming hatband of Pilgrims hat.
And the gum to make the buckle of the hat!
Should make 32 cookies!

These are the thank you cards I made to thank to local business establishments that kindly donated one ham and one turkey! I am having the kids all sign them!

It was a great time! We had lots of parent & student help- so it went very smoothly!!!!

Friday Favorite Five..............

This was so FUN and EASY last week- I got requests to do it again!
So here goes:
Handmade bookmarks my friend Lisa made for her Seattle book club......
(Remember the one I like to pretend I am in from California????) Haha

These have been around for awhile.....but I just got this one. It is a Heidi Swapp mask. Which after you stick it down, tap ink all over it, and then pull off, leaves the negative of the design! I have a project in the works with this...... very pretty results!
Another new book................
Can not live with out this in the morning...........
If you have never tried Seattle's Best.....give it a try. They have them in Borders. Lisa turned us onto this coffee. Hence the name! Anyhoo....it is from the makers of Starbucks I believe. Only it is smooth not bitter like Starbucks! LOVE it!
We got a rain out for our last soccer games this Sat. So the boys are DONE! Now we have three team party's to attend! Looks like Lissa will still have her soccer tournament this Sat!
It has been a good season- and for our first year as soccer parents....we LOVED it!

Please feel free to play along with me and post some of your Friday Favorite Five things on your blog!
Holli did here!

And I loved the comments last week too from:

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
