Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #55……

It was my week to choose the theme.  I went with monochromatic Twilight color themes.  (Thanks Tonya for your help with this one!)

Make a project using a monochromatic color scheme

inspired by the Twilight Saga.

For those who may not know or are unsure, a monochromatic color scheme uses a single color on most every layer of a project. In this type of scheme, various darker shades, grayer tones, and paler tints of the main color may be included in the palette. In addition, the one color is often paired with white or another neutral. (Wording paraphrased from About.com)

New Moon premieres in:

Today is the LAST day to sign up for the New Moon Blog Hop!!!

And finally, we’re doing something even MORE different today!

Alison is also issuing a Special Challenge:

“Hey Twilighters! The time has come! The wait is over! New Moon is going to be released THIS WEEK!!!

I’m betting that a lot of you have big plans; I know I do! But here’s the thing, we at TTIC don’t want to just hear about your experience with the movie, we want to see it!!!

So pack up your camera and TAKE PHOTOS of your New Moon experience! Pics while you’re waiting in line, of you and your Twi-friends, and even the afterglow of seeing all your fave Twi-boys!

Then, pull out your die cut machines, your snazzy embellishments and make a layout! Journal about your night out! Show us those awesome photos! Scrap your movie tickets! Let’s all get scrappin’!!!

This challenge will be due on December 1st, so for those of you that aren’t going to see the flick opening night, you’ve still got some time to play along with us!”

TTIC is taking a Thanksgiving holiday next Tuesday but Alison, Margie, and I will share some special projects to help inspire you to create your own scrappy experience of New Moon!

And finally (oops, I already said that once!), for the comment portion of today’s challenge, please share your New Moon viewing plans! Are you going with your spouse, kids, friends…when? Let’s hear your excitement!

Why do I blog?

I have never been one to keep a journal. I have never been able to write in a diary for more than a week! I have countless scrapbooks that still need to be journaled. I do this in hopes of becoming a better journalist. I do this to document everyday life. I do this so I don't have to scrapbook EVERY picture! I do this for me, our friends and family, & mostly the kids. One day they will have it all - because I took the time to document all the little things that REALLY do matter. Everyday life....all the little moments you & I can't remember because the memories are long gone.......
