Friend Cards………..

I am a big fan of getting and sending cards in the mail.  It had been too long since I dropped some in the mail for some of my closest friends.  I sat down the other night and assembly line made these cards with color coordinating scraps- and this ever SO true quote. And then dropped them in the mail for a little surprise!

My friend Leigh Ann has started making her own templates for packaging! I am SO excited for her! She makes some really amazing projects that all have her very own original touch. I can always tell something that she makes. It is never over done. I often copy her. Not just cause I think she is cool- and I want to be cool just like her, but because I love her style.

A few weeks ago I mailed him some of the cards I have made from my LOST challenges.  Believe it or not he actually came to my blog and left me a comment!  I was floored.  He is my new BFF!
Oh ya and by the way is name in real life is Jorge Garcia!

Soccer Album…….

It has been a long while since I have posted anything REALLY creative!  I have been busy making stuff….just not a lot of time to post it all! 
This is a album I made for Jake’s best friend Riley……..
I used my Solstice November kit from Club Scrap.  I also used a ton of product from my favorite scrapbook store Green Tangerines.  Album is hand stitched together using a wax thread. 
I did not have a template for it…just put it together one page at a time as I went along!  Sometimes that is best for me!  This is what the full kit looks like:

This is my new kit from Club Scrap.  It is coming in the mail…..and I can not wait!   Shine bright is the name of it I believe.  I can not wait to create with this bad boy…..

I need to get a good picture of the kidlets for the Christmas card.  I think I may attempt it today.  This is one of the them a few years ago that I just adore……..  I have some ideas in mind.  And I think I will go with the black and white as well.

Believe It Or Not, I Love It & Not Because Of It’s Name…………………….

I went to Ulta in search of a new fragrance.  I smelled about 100 of them.  And ended up with this one:

It is actually part of the Lovely Collection.  There is also Dawn and Endless.  Twilight was my favorite.  And not because of the name.  My daughter said “Well of course you picked that one!”

Next time you are out and about they sell them just about everywhere but your average Walmart or Target.  Give them all a smell and tell me which one you like best!
