Soccer Album…….

It has been a long while since I have posted anything REALLY creative!  I have been busy making stuff….just not a lot of time to post it all! 
This is a album I made for Jake’s best friend Riley……..
I used my Solstice November kit from Club Scrap.  I also used a ton of product from my favorite scrapbook store Green Tangerines.  Album is hand stitched together using a wax thread. 
I did not have a template for it…just put it together one page at a time as I went along!  Sometimes that is best for me!  This is what the full kit looks like:

This is my new kit from Club Scrap.  It is coming in the mail…..and I can not wait!   Shine bright is the name of it I believe.  I can not wait to create with this bad boy…..

I need to get a good picture of the kidlets for the Christmas card.  I think I may attempt it today.  This is one of the them a few years ago that I just adore……..  I have some ideas in mind.  And I think I will go with the black and white as well.

I’m So LOST…….{week 19}

I am still using this concrete jungle kit from Club Scrap.  I think it is just about completely used up!  This silver based shimmer paper is perfect for LOST. Love fuzzy brads…..got those at Green Tangerines.

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #54………………

Rebecca got to pick the challenge this week!  At first I really struggled with this one.  However in the end……I would have to say this is one of my favorite theme’s.  Very original as well!  This is what she had to say:

In New Moon, we really get to know more about the "pack" and some of the Quileute traditions. In Quileute legend, the Raven is the trickster figure in Quileute Indian culture. His name is pronounced similar to bah-yuck in Quileute. (I found that tidbit somewhere on the internet!)
Raven is a shape changer, who could assume any form - human or animal. The Raven is a clever and generally benign figure who sometimes helps humankind, but he also has many character traits that are viewed negatively in Quileute culture (greed, laziness, arrogance, deceitfulness, and rudeness) and many traditional legends have to do with Raven misbehaving and getting into trouble because of it. The tricks sometimes backfire, but in the manner of great fables - they offered life lessons for the young and old.
Your challenge: make a project that celebrates the Raven or any other Quileute legend (google it if you need some ideas!)

Using a few different products on this card….I love the end result.

All paper was from from scraps.  (Yeah!) The silver ribbon was a remnant from the Twilight Halloween shirts Lyndsay and I made.  And I made sure to use the blue paper to accent the Raven’s blue eye in the picture.  I think that is so cool. The word Fly is from my Club Scrap birds of a feather kit.  Wasn’t that fun?  I hope you play along this week!

I’m So LOST…….{week 16}

I would have to say this is one of my favorite LOST cards I have made so far……………. Love the little tag and beads…..I need to use those more!

Don’t you just love this?  Audra with dragonflycurls made it for me! One of my all time favorite stamps.  She can make you anything you like.  Just tell her the design you want!

It is just a SMALL obsession……really…..I promise!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #50…….

 

Donna got to pick out theme this week.  This is what she has to say:

" One of the best things about Charlie is that he doesn't hover"
Stephenie describes Charlie's personality and temperament in this one single sentence. But as we know his relationship with Bella slowly changes from strangers being thrown together in awkward situation to a bond that any father and daughter would be envious of.
Challenge Portion: Create a project, be it a card, layout or anything that would celebrate either Charlie's and Bella's relationship or the bond between your father or a father 'figure' in your life.
Comment Portion: Tell us about your relationship with your father or a father 'figure' who is or has been special to you.

 

This is a club scrap project that I made.  It is a little plastic bag album.  Lots of fun to put together with a cute end result.  
Alissa’s class went to an over night field trip for 4th grade last year.  It is all set for period time.  Pioneer camp…… That is my little bonnet child.  Doesn’t she look like little house on the prairie?
  Lissa  with her friend Harpreet & Lissa with her teacher Mr. Knox. The cool thing about the trip is Rob took Alissa.  The above pic is them on the porch swing of one of the cabins.  It is a classic picture of the two of them and the bond they share.  Daddy and girl!

Lissa and her square dance partner Robby.  Such a cutie pie he is! Oh they will love these pictures one day!
