Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #29..............

This week's challenge is brought to us by the talented Tonya. The theme she picked for this week is to touch on the BFF relationship of Bella and Jacob. So as I have said in many postings- I am all about Edward. That is who I would choose. However- I do LOVE Jacob as a friend for Bella. I love his sense of humor and the fact that he has always loved her makes him very protective of her. So I think this makes their friendship complicated- but still a good one.

I myself have many BFF's. A handful of my special friends. I think we all have several friends from different times of our lives and from our different settings. And they are all dear and we hold them special in our hearts. However- it is the BFF's that we have exposed our inner most secrets- and really do know us inside and out. So for this project I am sharing something that I recently made for one of my BFF's Holli. It is a little notebook that she can write notes or assignments in.



I used the Club Scrap Cypress kit for this mini notebook. I added the little tag on the side. "Causing trouble since 1989." 20 years is a lot of trouble huh Hol?
(Actually I think most of it was my fault- but it is always fun to blame someone else!)

I Know it is Not February Anymore.............

......and that it is April. However- this is how BAD I am. I have not posted the Valentine gifts I made for the teachers this year! So here we go........................
These little cute boxes came thru a SCS email newsletter. They hold four of the Ghirardelli small chocolate bars.
These are notebooks that I made using embossed felt, lined paper, my bind it all (LOVE that thing), and Basic Grey magnetic closers.


My friend Denise gave me the rest of her Green Tangerines page kit and I used it to make these cute cards!


I wish everyday was Valentine's Day!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #28..............

This week the marvelous Margie got to pick the theme. She chose Edward and Bella's wedding.
And this is my project for the week:

Everything about this card sparkles! From the ivory Bazzill Bling paper, to the shimmery patterned paper. I added a strip of iridescent beads to the one side. SU happiness stamp, tore leaves and more Bazzill Bling to make a flower. Wrapped the paper into a circular pattern and added a stitch with shimmery thread.
Like I said very Sparkly! Speaking of sparkle.......

I found this go green stamp in the dollar stamp bin at Michaels. I knew it would come in handy for lots of projects. I went crazy with the green on this one- and raided my green scrap paper.

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #26............

This challenge was MY pick. I thought long and hard about this one. One of the most significant parts in the books for me was the VOID. How you actually had to flip thru the pages with just the months written on them. I think everyone can probably relate to that part in the book really. That feeling of helplessness and loss. And I think everyone has gone thru that feeling of love and loss. So this week I wanted to touch on that a little bit.

Here is my project for this week....................



I used Club Scrap product for this one. Make sure you check out here what I am getting this month for the kit. WOW.....is all I can say. I had to share- cause it is so stinkin' pretty.

Speaking of sharing......here are two poems I wrote long long ago that I wanted to share. Be kind friends.......long long time ago - being the key here! I felt these related to Bella and Edward. I am sure Holli remembers these. Maybe this will prompt my childhood friend to share some of her wonderful poems on her blog! :)


Forgetting You


Sometimes I find myself thinking back to you
Remembering the times spent between the two of us
Recalling the summer days- the smoldering heat
The passion, the feeling of falling so helplessly in love
I also recall the winter nights- the snow falling down around us
